Vacating Information

Ending Your Tenancy Agreement

Your Tenancy Agreement is a legal and binding agreement, and therefore certain requirements are in place when you wish to end you tenancy.

The agreement can be terminated by the tenant in the following ways:-

Should you wish to vacate the property at the expiry of your fixed agreement (14) days notice must be provided to our office in writing before the end of your fixed agreement.

Once your lease has expired you can stay on a continuing agreement (week to week lease) whereby 21 days notice must then be provided to our office in writing to advise of intention to vacate.

Please remember that once you have issued notice to vacate the property, our agency is permitted to show prospective tenants through the property during the last (14) days of the tenancy. You will be notified of any inspections.

If due to unforseen circumstances you must vacate the premises during the lease, please advise our office as soon as possible so we may endeavour to find another tenant. You are however still responsible for the rent, & re-letting costs until a suitable tenant is found.
